Following the adoption of the motion on “JAMB’s new
admission policy” which was sponsored by Senator
Joshua Lidani of Gombe South and seven others,
the
Nigerian senate has asked the senate committee on
education to invite the leadership of Joint Admission

circumstances surrounding the new JAMB Admission

The senate also told the committee to consult relevant
stake holders like the Parents Teachers Association,

with a more acceptable admission policy.
According to the sponsor of the motion, the new JAMB

increasing the validity of its results from one to three
years to reduce the number of yearly applicants.
