Zuckerberg and his wife to give 99% of their Facebook shares to charity

The announcement was made through a letter to their daughter Max,
who was born last week.
The 31 year old Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan said they plan to give away the shares over their lifetimes to advance the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. The charity initiative will be formed as a limited liability company and will be controlled by the couple.
 The shares currently worth about 45 billion dollars. Zuckerberg said he still plans to remain CEO of Facebook for many years to come. Facebook said Zuckerberg is expected to be the controlling stockholder of the company for the foreseeable future.

Senate rejects proposal to payunemployed youth N5, 000monthly

The Senate on Wednesday rejected a motion for the payment of N5, 000 monthly allowance to unemployed youths in the country. The motion was sponsored by Philip Aduda (PDP, FCT) but was greeted with shouts of “no, no” when he tried to explain it.
